Pennsylvania Storm Water Program Needs your Help!!
For two years the Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) has been working with an Oversight Committee composed of members of Delaware River Keeper, area township supervisors and storm water maintenance managers, and several other related organizations.
PADEP and the Oversight Committee have been working together and listening to each other. As a result, the Storm water Best Management Practices Manual reflects good practices which should be followed to minimize storm water runoff problems now and in the future.
But now PADEP is proposing to ignore these Best Management Practices to be used by local municipalities that favor less protective control measures.
